They should be able to concisely and accurately share knowledge with their teammates.</span></p></div><h3><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE:</strong></h3>
<p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Lead, Receiving Specialist</strong> to oversee inbound receiving operations supporting data center construction and operations in Memphis, TN. In this working-lead role, you will lead a team of Receiving Specialists in the accurate, timely, and damage-free receipt of high-value materials and equipment (including servers, networking gear, power systems, cooling infrastructure, and other critical components). You will combine hands-on execution with team leadership to maintain inventory integrity, resolve discrepancies, and support aggressive project timelines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</p>
<h3><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of Receiving Specialists; assign work, provide training, and ensure consistent, high-quality execution of receiving processes</li>
<li>Oversee receipt of all incoming materials and packages; transact receipts in the ERP/WMS system and process hold packages</li>
<li>Create, print, and apply routing labels and required identifiers; maintain accurate records of incoming paperwork</li>
<li>Verify all material received for conformity with accompanying documentation, checking for damage, correct part numbers, and quantity</li>
<li>Interface with carriers, vendors, purchasing, logistics, facilities, and construction/operations teams to resolve receipt, discrepancy, and distribution issues</li>
<li>Coordinate return shipments and reverse logistics</li>
<li>Review stagnant inventory reports and support location accuracy and inventory reconciliation</li>
<li>Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment in accordance with safety procedures</li>
<li>Drive good housekeeping, 5S, and process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and safety</li>
<li>Document non-conformances and support root-cause and corrective-action processes as needed</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalency certificate</li>
<li>3+ years of experience in receiving, supply chain, warehouse, or manufacturing environment, including at least 1 year in a lead, senior, or supervisory capacity</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of experience in a receiving role, preferably supporting data center, construction, or high-tech operations</li>
<li>Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems and scanning equipment (RF/handheld scanners)</li>
<li>Experience operating a forklift and other powered industrial equipment</li>
<li>Experience handling high-value or sensitive electronics, servers, or critical infrastructure components</li>
<li>Experience with nonconforming material control, discrepancy resolution, and inventory accuracy processes</li>
<li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft suite proficiency</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to lead teams, train others, and drive operational improvements</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Must be open to working either day shift (6:00 AM – 4:00 PM) or night shift (6:00 PM – 4:00 AM), Monday–Friday, with weekends included when needed to support 24/7 project demands; flexibility to cover overtime as required</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted</li>
<li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform physical tasks for extended periods</li>
<li>Willingness to work in a warehouse environment that may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and dust</li>
<li>Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures</li>
