The team partners across the company to build a high-performing organization through recruiting, employee development, engagement, and people operations. </p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">The Role</span></strong> </p> <p>We're seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support our Talent team and own the logistics, coordination, and candidate experience across the hiring process. This role is critical to our ability to scale—ensuring candidates move quickly, interviews run seamlessly, and every interaction reflects the high bar we set for our team. This is an early-career role ideal for candidates looking to grow into recruiting, talent operations, or HR. This is a fully on-site role based at our Torrance, CA headquarters. </p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Key Responsibilities</span></strong> </p> <ul> <li>Schedule phone, video, and onsite interviews across multiple teams and time zones with speed and accuracy. </li> <li>Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through clear communication, attention to detail, and confident onsite hosting. </li> <li>Maintain accurate candidate records and workflows in our Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse). </li> <li>Coordinate candidate travel (flights, hotels, transportation) and support expense reconciliation. </li> <li>Improve recruiting operations through process enhancements and special projects. </li> <li>Build strong, professional relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders. </li> <li>Partner closely with recruiters and hiring teams across the business to keep the hiring process moving. </li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Basic Qualifications</span></strong><span data-contrast="none"> </span> </p> <ul> <li>Experience managing complex calendars and using tools such as Outlook and Microsoft Office. </li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset. </li> <li>High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. </li> <li>Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. </li> <li>Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. </li> <li>Based in or willing to relocate to Torrance, CA. </li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Preferred Skills and Experience</span></strong><span data-contrast="none"> </span> </p> <ul> <li>1+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent operations, or HR coordination. </li> <li>Experience using Greenhouse or a similar Applicant Tracking System (ATS). </li> <li>Bachelor's degree. </li> <li>Experience improving or streamlining recruiting or operational processes. </li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Competitive base salary </li> <li>Equity ownership in a rapidly growing advanced energy company </li> <li>Comprehensive medical benefits </li> <li>Unlimited PTO</li> <li>Free daily lunch and dinner provided onsite </li> <li>Generous PPE stipend</li> <li>High-impact startup environment with significant ownership and autonomy </li> <li>Opportunities for rapid career growth and internal advancement </li> <li>Direct collaboration with experienced operators, engineers, and industry leaders </li> <li>The opportunity to help build and scale transformative energy technology from the ground up</li> </ul> <p><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity Statement</strong></p> <p>Valar Atomics is an equal opportunity employer.
