About the role
Become the backbone of our cleanroom operations team and drive efficient material flow in a High Tech company!
About Nearfield Instruments
Nearfield Instruments (NFI) is a fast-growing scale-up high-tech company. We design, develop, integrate, market and service advanced metrology machines. Our machines enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers – to increase the production yields, and thus, functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics.
Founded in 2016, we bring together the most creative minds (approx. 425 employees) in science and technology and develop a one-of-a-kind, revolutionary high throughput Scanning Probe Microscopy system.
You will work in our cleanroom environment as a Cleanroom Logistics Operator within the MAFM production team, directly supporting the production planner. You own the complete material lifecycle – from receiving and inspecting incoming parts, to registering them in our ERP system, unpacking and cleaning components, and creating production-ready kits. You ensure that parts move seamlessly through the production pipeline while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and inventory accuracy. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and proactive approach directly impact production operations, and where you're empowered to contribute ideas that make processes more robust and efficient.
What will you be doing?
Act as the primary contact person for all incoming parts and materials from logistics
Receive, verify, and register all incoming goods in the ERP system
Unpack, clean, and prepare parts for storage or production use
Create and assemble physical kits according to production requirements
Maintain accurate inventory counts and ERP updates
Identify and suggest process improvements for material flow and efficiency
