<h2>Manufacturing Associate II - 6 months Temporary position in Quincy, MA</h2> <h3>Job Description</h3> <p>We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to assist with antibody characterization assays and/or purification workflows within in vivo antibody discovery campaigns and high-throughput antibody production, characterization, and developability projects. This role requires a team-oriented approach, clear and frequent communication, and an ability to function independently.</p> <h3><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong> Shifts: 1. Sunday - Thursday, 12pm - 8:30pm </strong><br><strong> 2. Tuesday - Saturday, 12pm - 8:30pm</strong> <br><strong>** Training period requires Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm supervision until independent</strong><br></span></h3> <h3>What You’ll Be Doing</h3> <ul> <li>Perform ELISA titer test, primary screening, and secondary screening assays for hybridoma workflows</li> <li>Perform Baculovirus Particle ELISA assay</li> <li>Perform NanoDSF assay</li> <li>Perform High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)</li> <li>Perform SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis</li> <li>Perform Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR; Carterra platform) assays</li> <li>Prepare buffers for use in ELISA, SPR, Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC), HPLC, etc.</li> <li>Perform aliquoting for protein productions</li> <li>Perform daily cleaning maintenance on laboratory equipment</li> <li>Assist in inventory management for project materials</li> <li>Complete daily assigned tasks to maintain a clean and organized lab environment</li> <li>Complete project documentation in accordance with assays performed</li> <li>Follow all applicable SOPs, protocols, and procedures</li> <li>Cross-functional training into other departments, as appropriate</li> </ul> <h3>What You’ll Bring to the Team</h3> <ul> <li>Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field is desirable 1 of 2</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Good computer skills (Excel, Google Drive, etc.) and the ability to quickly learn new software applications</li> <li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <div> <div> <div> <div id="message-list-preview-list"> <div id="message-list-preview-list"> <div> <div> <h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">About Twist Bioscience</span></h2> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Twist Bioscience synthesizes genes from scratch, known as “writing” DNA.
