Senior Analyst (Hotel)

<p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p> <p>The Senior Analyst, Hospitality Asset Management supports the strategic oversight and financial performance of Comstock’s hospitality portfolio. This role partners closely with Asset Management leadership and third-party hotel operators to analyze asset performance, support investment decisions, and provide actionable recommendations that maximize long-term value.</p> <p><strong>Asset Performance Analysis<br></strong>• Analyze monthly operating results and key hospitality performance metrics, including RevPAR, GOPPAR, occupancy, ADR, and flow-through.<br>• Prepare recurring asset and portfolio performance reports for senior leadership and ownership groups.<br>• Monitor third-party operator performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.<br>• Conduct market and competitive set analyses utilizing STR reports and industry benchmarks.<strong><br><br>Financial Analysis &amp; Underwriting<br></strong>• Build and maintain complex financial models for acquisitions, dispositions, development opportunities, and asset repositioning initiatives.<br>• Support underwriting efforts through discounted cash flow (DCF), sensitivity, and scenario analyses.<br>• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.<br>• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and supporting materials for internal review and investment committee discussions.<strong><br><br>Capital Planning &amp; Asset Management Support<br></strong>• Track capital expenditure projects and monitor project budgets and timelines.<br>• Support property improvement plans (PIPs), renovations, and asset enhancement initiatives through financial analysis and reporting.<br>• Coordinate with operators, consultants, and internal stakeholders to gather information and evaluate investment opportunities.<strong><br></strong></p> <p><strong>Reporting &amp; Stakeholder Communication<br></strong>• Prepare presentations, reports, and financial analyses for ownership, joint venture partners, and senior leadership.<br>• Maintain portfolio reporting dashboards and performance tracking tools.<br>• Assist with due diligence activities related to acquisitions, refinancing, and asset dispositions.<strong><br></strong></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Hospitality Management, Accounting, or a related field.</li> <li>3+ years of experience in hospitality asset management, hotel investment analysis, commercial real estate, investment banking, consulting, or a related analytical role.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and valuation analysis.</li> <li>Experience with hospitality financial statements, STR reports, and hotel operating metrics.</li> <li>Familiarity with Yardi Voyager and Argus Enterprise preferred.</li> <li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <p>Compensation:<br>- Competitive Salary with Bonus Potential<br>- Generous Benefit Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Match, Life Insurance<br><br>Career Development<br>- Opportunities for Advancement within our expanding portfolio<br>- Annual Professional Development Funds to fuel your growth<br><br>Employee Perks (to name a few):<br>- Housing Discount<br>- Commuter Benefits<br>- Free Parking and EV charging<br>- Parental Leave Program<br>- Enjoy a Friendly Work Environment that values collaboration<br><br>Explore more perks and possibilities <a href="https://careers.comstock.com/benefits">here </a>for growing your career with Comstock Companies!
